"Er ist einer der Söhne des Ortenauer Stars Andreas Laible, aber er wollte vor einigen Jahren etwas Eigenständiiges machen. Alexander Laible machte schnell auf sich aufmerksam - mit überdurchschnittlichen Weinen mit viel Profil. Auch 2011 hat er einige Pfeile im Köcher, etwa diesen Drei-Sterne-Riesling mit ausgeprägter, würziger Mineralik im Aroma; schon im Jungweinstadium lässt er Eleganz und Tiefgang erkennen, ist ausserdem straff und komplex, sollte aber noch etwas liegen."
