"Aus der Einzellage Langenmorgen direkt am Waldrand oberhalb von Deidesheim. Das besondere in diesem Jahr war die Gärung, welche rund zehn Monate lang dauerte. Entsprechend eigenständig und komplex ist das Bouquet: Salbei, Bohnenkraut, Orangenzeste, reife Birne, Zitronenkuchen und leicht laktische Anklänge. Der Stil setzt sich auch am Gaumen fort, ein Mund voll Wein, cremig, saftig, hat Kraft und Dichte, das kann man kauen, ist aber in keinster Weise plump oder zu mächtig. Die knackige Säure und die auf den Punkt gereifte Frucht sorgen für Gleichgewicht und einer barocken Eleganz im langen Abgang. Hat nicht den gleichen Schliff wie die anderen GGs, dafür unheimlich viel Charme! 2020 bis 2034, 18.5 vvPunkte (94/100)"
