Markus Molitor is a German winemaker and winery owner in the Mosel region. He was born in 1964 in Bernkastel-Wehlen and grew up in a winemaking family. Even as a young man, he had a keen interest in wine and acquired his first vineyard at the age of only 20. Today Markus Molitor runs his father's winery, which he has turned into one of Germany's best-known wine estates over the past decades. The Markus Molitor winery owns 55 hectares of vineyards in some of the Moselle's most famous sites, including Wehlener Sonnenuhr, Zeltinger Sonnenuhr and Ürziger Würzgarten. Markus Molitor is known for its respectful approach to nature and the tradition of Moselle viticulture. His vineyards are carefully tended and the grapes are harvested by hand to ensure the highest quality. Markus Molitor's wines are known for their clarity and precision, as well as for their complex aromas and the distinct mineral character that is typical of Moselle wines. A special feature of the Markus Molitor winery is the diversity of its wines. Markus Molitor produces a wide range of Rieslings, dry to noble sweet wines. Other grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris are also grown and made into excellent wines. Markus Molitor has received numerous awards and recognition for his work, including the "Winemaker of the Year" award in the Gault Millau Weinguide Germany. His wines can be found in many renowned restaurants and wine shops around the world and are appreciated by wine lovers all over the world. Markus Molitor is an outstanding representative of Mosel viticulture and his work and dedication have earned him a place among the world's top winemakers.

Intense ruby red colour with a hint of violet. The bouquet has notes of mature, red fruits, such as cherries, amarena cherries, dried prunes, woodland fruits, blackberries and blueberries. The palate has a good, soft, ample structure and again confirms the nose, ending with spices, black pepper, canella and liquorice.
