Sehr mineralisch am Gaumen, pur, rassig, von einer schlanken Radikalität, die schon beim 2010er Kastanienbusch die Gemüter spaltete. Trotz seiner Länge und Dramatik erscheint mir der Wein etwas älter, als er ist, und auch weniger konzentriert als früher. Rebholz' Weg bleibt weiter spannend. Dass es dem Wein an Spannung und Mineralität nicht fehlt, wird niemand abstreiten. Fleischige Sinnlichkeit jedoch kann er nicht bedienen."
