Anfangs dezent reduktiv, braucht Luft und idealerweise einen Dekanter um sich zu öffnen, zeigt dann einen betörenden, burgundisch anmutenden Duft nach schwarzen Johannisbeeren, Kirschen, Hagebutten, Sanddorn, ätherischen Noten, Fenchel, Oregano und Heu. Eine Nase, man möchte eintauchen. Im Gaumen mit weichem Auftakt, satte Frucht, rote und dunkle Beeren, getragen von einer sehr guten Struktur, sehr feines, wunderbar integriertes Tannin, perfekt dosiertes Holz, eine markante Säure macht den Wein ungemein frisch und saftig. Würzig, charaktervoll, und aktuell in einem wunderbaren Trinkfenster endet der Wein ausgesprochen lang und rotfruchtig. Ein Wein der zeigt, dass man in Spanien auch frische Rotweine produzieren kann ? stilistisch ein Hit! Jetzt bis 2023 geniessen, 18.5 vvPunkte (92/100)."
