Cabernet Kirchhügel - 2019 - 0.75 lt. - Winery Kurtatsch
Those who have a little patience and can cellar their "Kirchhügel" Cabernet for a length of time will be rewarded with tertiary aromas that are reminiscent of an oriental tea ceremony: cedar, suede, tobacco, roasted hazelnuts, sponge cake, and dried blackberries.
Moscato Rosa Ushas Demi 0,375 lt. - 2017 - Winery Kurtatsch
In these, the tiniest of seedless grapes, there is a breathtaking concentration of aromas that are reminiscent of oriental fruit and spice markets, spicy tannin contour that initiates a provocative liaison with aromas of roses, cinnamon, rose hips, and orange peel.
Müller Thurgau Graun - 2020 - 0.75 lt. - Winery Kurtatsch
lively, quaffable, lightly aromatic white wine - a pleasant tone of nutmeg that varies in intensity depending upon the vineyard location is typical of the variety. This wine, which is both spicy and lively, is reminiscent of a freshly mown Alpine meadow. The high mountain acidity is harmoniously interwoven with the fruitiness, yielding flavors of yellow peaches, honey, nutmeg blossoms, hazel nuts, and peach blossom tea.
Pinot Blanc Hofstatt - 2021 - 0.75 lt. - Winery Cortaccia
In its youth, it is still wild. Once the stage of maturity for consumption has been reached, however, it becomes truly enthralling, with delicate mountain apple and lemon balm. The bouquet is unobtrusive, evoking the delicate fragrance of the flowers that sprout crevices above the tree line. A careful passage through wood lends the wine a suppler texture, which forms a harmonious with the unbroken, fresh acidic structure.
Pinot Noir Riserva Mazon - 2018 - 0.75 lt. - Winery Cortaccia
The complex wine needs a long period of maturation in order to display its full potential with notes of black cherries, forest berries and violets. The lingering, lengthy finish pairs meaty toast aromas with cocoa and cedar. The aromas reverberate on the palate. Fresh acidity and delicate minerality animate the dense structure of the wine. Ripe tannins remain juicy until the end, giving the wine a lush finish.
Rosenmuskateller passito Ushas - 2018 - 0.75 lt. - Cortaccia Winery
Only ten hectares of Moscato rosa exist in Alto Adige. The grapevine is highly demanding. Much manual labor is necessary in the vineyard. Its blossom is female and is not self-pollinating. This often leads to poor fruit set and extremely low yield. The tiny, partially seedless berries contain breathtaking concentrations of aromas reminiscent of dried rose petals, candied strawberries and oriental spices. During its long, courageous period of skin contact, USHAS develops a spicy outline of tannins which melds harmoniously with the aromas of rose hips, cinnamon and orange peel. Extra-sweet finish with invigorating acidity. USHAS: the rare one.

The Kurtatsch Winery is one of the most important winegrowing cooperatives in South Tyrol and is located in the small municipality of Kurtatsch in the heart of the Überetsch region. The history of the winery goes back to 1900, when a few local winegrowers joined forces to produce wine together.
Today, the Kurtatsch Winery has around 200 members who cultivate over 20 different grape varieties on a total of around 190 hectares of vineyards. The winery relies on sustainable cultivation of the vineyards, which is supported by the use of modern technologies and careful manual work by the winegrowers.
The result is wines of the highest quality that regularly win awards at national and international competitions. The Kurtatsch winery is particularly well known for its white wines, first and foremost the Sauvignon Blanc, the Chardonnay and the Gewürztraminer. But also the red wines of the winery, such as the Lagrein or the Vernatsch, convince with their intensity and their balanced structure.
In addition to the high quality of its wines, the Kurtatsch Winery also stands out for its innovative strength. For example, it received an award for its "Cold Cellar" project, which significantly reduced the winery's energy consumption with the help of solar panels and geothermal energy.
All in all, the Kurtatsch Winery is one of the most important addresses for wines South Tyrol and stands for a successful combination of tradition and modernity, manual work and technology, as well as quality and sustainability.
