Cabernet is among South Tyrol's true aristocratic varietal wines and has been cultivated here for over a century. Full dark ruby in colour with a concentrated aroma of blackcurrant and blackberry, rich on the palate with assertive, supple tannins, long with fresh fruit on the finish. Cuvee Merlot - Cabernet Cornelius HB 0,375 lt. - 2020 - Winery Colterenzio
The Roman settler and winegrower Cornelius settled in the Colterenzio area around 15 BC, and founded his Cornelianum wine estate, form which the name Cornaiano developed. He laid the foundations for our present-day wine culture. Cornelius is an elegant Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Bright pale yellow tinged with green; attractive ripe orchard fruits on the nose, elegant and multi-faceted, yeasty with hints of honeydew melon and citrus fruits supported by firm acidity typical of the growing season, leading to a flinty aftertaste. Pinot Grigio Puiten - 2019 - 0.75 lt. - cantina Colterenzio
Full yellow tinged with green; the bouquet is concentrated and fruity leading to a full mouth feel characterised by attractive orchard fruit flavours, hay and honey with crisp, refreshing acidity. Cellaring potential 3-5 years. Food Choices: A very food-friendly wine, try with a chicken pasta bake, a fish and chip supper, an apple and celery or seafood salad.
Pinot Noir Lafoa Riserva - 2020 - Colterenzio Winery - 0.75 lt.
Ruby red in color; seductive aromas of cherry, raspberries, red fruits, combined with fine spicy notes and discreet roasted notes. On the palate is powerful and complex with gripping tannins and an elegant finish. This Pinot Nero has a great character, is elegant and with a lot of finesse. Intense fruit aromas blend harmoniously with silky tannins. A wine leaned on the Burgundian example, complex, refined, with a nice concentration a great cellaring potential.

The Schreckbichl Winery, also known as Cantina Produttori Colterenzio, is one of the best-known wineries in South Tyrol, a region in the northern part of Italy known for its excellent wine-growing areas. The winery was founded in 1960 by a group of winegrowers and has its headquarters in Schreckbichl, a small village in the municipality of Girlan.
Today, the Schreckbichl Winery is one of the largest cooperatives in South Tyrol and has more than 300 members spread over a total of 650 hectares of vineyards. The winegrowers cooperate closely with each other and share their knowledge to produce first-class wines that reflect the terroir and climate of the region.
