The Roner distillery in Tramin is one of the best known and most renowned distilleries in South Tyrol and in the whole of Italy. The company was founded in 1946 by Matthias Roner and is now run in the third generation by the brothers Günther and Karin Roner.
The distillery specialises in the production of fine spirits and liqueurs high-quality, regional ingredients. The Roner distillery is particularly well known for its fruit brandies, which are made the ripe fruits of the surrounding orchards. These include apples, pears, plums and apricots.
