Cultivation / Soil: Family owned southwest slope at 100 metres above sea level on the slopes of Monte Ceriani in Val d'Illasi. Calcareous soil of volcanic origin with traces of clay
Grape variety: Garganega
Manufacturing process: The grape harvest is carried out by hand at the beginning of September. The grapes are collected in small crates. Vinification takes place with a slight softening of the skin, followed by fermentation in steel vats. The wine is then bottled in the spring following the harvest.
Colour / bouquet / taste: delicate straw yellow / reminiscent of citrus fruits, especially grapefruit / Fresh, strong, with a delicate almond aroma on the finish.
Storage / Serving temperature: To be drunk young and stored in a cool, dry and dark place. Served cold at 10 to 12 degrees,

This Vecchie Vigne (Old Vines) version is made with only Garganega grapes and ages six months in French oak barriques. The bouquet has notes of yellow fruit and vanilla, while the mouthfeel has an excellent structure, nicely rich with extracts and with a distinct alcohol content. This is a powerful white and even a bit difficult given its bold structure."
