Weinberg Dolomiten White - Cuvée of 3 local white grape varieties
Wine growing area: These vines grow on the sunny hills of the Upper Etsch Valley and the Lowlands, at an altitude of about 250 - 450 metres.
Vinification: The different grapes are delivered to the winery separately. There, after a short maceration period, they are gently pressed, clarified and individually fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20°C.
Recommended with: The full variety of flavours is best revealed when our "Lenz" is drunk as an aperitif or enjoyed with light starters, pasta dishes, risotto or fish. Like this, its fine bouquet can unfold, prompting your tastebuds to burst into bloom.
Allergic-Info: This wine can contain sulfites
During the hot season, which did not allow for air curing, in earlier times people began to cook the meat first and then lightly smoke it. This resulted in a good shelf life and a food product with an extraordinary taste and aroma.
It is produced using white grape Must, acetified and aged in oak barrels to get its typical amber colour. Its most striking feature is that it does not alter the colour of dishes but it adds a fruity and mildly acid aroma and flavour (excellent to replace wine vinegar).
