The Schreckbichl Winery, also known as Cantina Produttori Colterenzio, is one of the best-known wineries in South Tyrol, a region in the northern part of Italy known for its excellent wine-growing areas. The winery was founded in 1960 by a group of winegrowers and has its headquarters in Schreckbichl, a small village in the municipality of Girlan. Today, the Schreckbichl Winery is one of the largest cooperatives in South Tyrol and has more than 300 members spread over a total of 650 hectares of vineyards. The winegrowers cooperate closely with each other and share their knowledge to produce first-class wines that reflect the terroir and climate of the region.
