Grape variety:
Lagrein South Tyrol DOC. Lagrein is one of the indigenous grape varieties of South Tyrol.
Production area:
The vine prefers warm, sunny places as on the valley floor. It grows best on alluvial gravel soils. The best areas for Lagrein can be found near Bolzano and Egna, where the grapes for the Lagrein Rieder come from.

Vinification:
Manual harvest, fermentation in traditional concrete tanks, maceration of 8-12 days, maturation on the yeast for 6 months.
