Deion: This strong ruby- to garnet-red wine has a light note of violets. Its taste is rich in fine tannins; it is harmonious on the palate, with a full body and a velvety finish. The Lagrein draws its character and noble spicy notes in particular its aging in small oak barrels.
Vinification: Maturation in the tank takes eight days, with continuous "punching down" of the marc head. The process is finalised in around five days in a steel tank at a regulated temperature. The wine is then aged in small oak barrels for 15 months.
Recommended with: Ideal with substantial dishes, dark meats, game, game birds and hard cheeses

This long-lived, elegant Gewürztraminer is highly aromatic and tangy. The fruity, aromatic scent is reminiscent of roses and has flavours of exotic fruits. The taste of this straw- to golden-yellow white wine is very mild and harmonious.

The grape variety, which originated in Germany, has found an ideal terroir in South Tyrol. Riesling makes high demands on the site and prefers a cool but sunny climate. This is exactly what the vineyards around Lake Montiggl and the neighbouring sites offer, whose porphyry soils give the wine its special character. The Riesling Fallwind impresses with its fruity notes and mineral acidity, which make it a top-class wine.
