The Merano Burggräfler Winery is one of the oldest wineries in South Tyrol and was founded in 1901. It is located in the city of Merano in the heart of the Burggrafenamt, a historic region in South Tyrol. Character: intense cherry-red colour, strong and full-bodied, a delicate aroma of beeries with light grassy hints, 12 month maturation in Tonneaux. Best paired: to game, wild poultry, darker meats and cheeses.
Dark ruby colour, velvety fruit notes of blackberry and the violet. Its taste is medium strong with a velvety tannin structure.

The wine has a dense and impressive colour. Very intensive fruit notes of black currant and wild cherry, liquorice and leather. In the mouth it's chubby, soft, handy tannins and has a fine long finale.
