Carattere: Ottenuto da uve Merlot in purezza provenienti da vigneti situati nella zona di Settequerce (Terlano) il Siebeneick testimonia la sicura vocazione dell'Adige alla produzione di Merlot di forte personalità. Il lungo e accurato affinamento in legno (di ben 20 mesi) si svolge per due terzi in ampie botti di rovere da 35 ettolitri e per un terzo in piccoli fusti di rovere francese, periodo seguito da un ulteriore affinamento in bottiglia di almeno 8 mesi. Rosso rubino intenso, il nostro Merlot all'assaggio mostra un intenso bouquet di frutta matura e note piacevolmente terrose, mentre al palato è pieno, asciutto e dotato di una buona struttura tannica. Un vino importante, che potrete conservare per alcuni anni in cantina grazie al suo notevole potenziale d'invecchiamento.

The Schreckbichl Winery, also known as Cantina Produttori Colterenzio, is one of the best-known wineries in South Tyrol, a region in the northern part of Italy known for its excellent wine-growing areas.
