VINTNERS COMMENT: A vivid stramineous color with greenish gleam. The flowery aromas remind of roses, cloves, nutmeg and ethereal flavours. The taste is harmonic, fresh and soft with a long persistant finish. BOTTLING:

The Merano Burggräfler Winery is one of the oldest wineries in South Tyrol and was founded in 1901. It is located in the city of Merano in the heart of the Burggrafenamt, a historic region in South Tyrol. The intense, aromatic bouquet, together with soft, full character needs flavoursome dishes. We recommend serving this wine with shellfish, flavoured cheeses and desserts, such as strudel. Also a good match with spicy dishes and sweet and sour creations with an Asian touch.

This is a highly individual wine and a copybook Gewürztraminer: full, bright straw yellow, concentrated with a strong aromatic character reminiscent of dried flowers and rose petals which develops and intensifies in the glass. Full-bodied, luscious but dry on the palate, the opulence cut by vibrant, firm acidity.
Toblacher pole cheese dairy Three Peaks, mild decent cut-cheese, matured at least 6 weeks.
This slightly piquant cut cheese distinguishes itself with his piquant aroma and his natural taste. The cut-firm, creamy consistency is also typical. This cheese is made high-quality hay milk.
The Schiava grape varietal and all of its variations are exceptional traditional vines this area which are meeting with ever more success. This wine has a fine, delicate, harmonious and velvety aroma. It is a lively, young and inviting red that can be served on any occasion.
Coarse grained beef and pork with a mark pepper, otherwise mildly and agreeable is the house salami of Steiner. These mould-matured salami is matured for approx. 6 to 8 weeks in controlled climate rooms.
