This wine is a challenging blend of: Vernatsch, Lagrein and Pinot Noir. It is a fruity and elegant wine with a typical Lagrein-flavour(blackberry, blueberry...) .
The Lagrein St. Valtentin is easily recognisable thanks to its almost black colour. Complex cocoa and Prunella aromas, dark fruits of the forest and vanilla typify the bouquet, which are spread in a complex way. The wine unleashes an immense strength on the palat. It possesses a finely-integrated structure and smooth-strong tanning agents that linger harmoniously in the mouth.

Smell: The Pinot Noir presents itself as a multifaceted wine on the nose, where the delicate primary fruit aromas of wild strawberries and blackberries blend with restrained aromas of tobacco and flint, and notes of white field mushrooms. Our Pinot Nero Elena Walch shines in clear, fresh ruby red. A fruity play of aromas of red berries, cherries and raspberries as well as spicy notes with some white pepper characterizes the bouquet. In the mouth, the wine convinces with juicy structure and inviting freshness, with soft, velvety tannins, discreet spices in the background and a youthful, elegant finish.
Our Pinot Nero is produced entirely grapes produced French clones. The fermentation is spontaneous in open wooden vats, while malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques. The wine is then refined for twelve months in French durmast oak casks.
Medium cherry-red colour. Pronounced, fruity (prune, cherry) and spicy aroma with notes of leather, tar, dark chocolate and floral nuances (violets), along with oak spice. Medium structure and with good fruit intensity on the palate. The tannins are present though balanced. Good length with an earthy aftertaste.

A combination of the vines Vernatsch, Lagrein and Merlot which grow on rocky, barren and steep soil on sunny slopes Bozen, Überetsch and Unterland. The mix of Pergola and Guyot makes it possible to get small quantity but high quality. The grapes are rich on extract and give this cuvée elegance, a velvety and harmonic body.
Merlot Levad comes old vines near Magrè. To improve its typical spicy taste, slightly fruity, the ageing takes place in small barrels, for 14 months. The tannic components mixed with fruits give birth to a well-structured wine.
Our Lagrein Reserve Burgum Novum gives a compact and concentrated wine with a dark red colour and soft tannins. The typical aromas are Chocolate, Coffee, Vanilla and Violets.
Medium ruby colour with garnet tints. Clean, uplifted berry character, young and quite plump aroma with some spiciness (pepper). Medium bodied, with soft fruit flavours and some light tannin and a little acidity on the finish giving a nice freshness.
