>> dettaglio
brilliant straw yellow colour with a green tint. Very fine, fruity (apples, peaches), forward varietal aroma. Pronounced, clean, elegant, grapey flavour, light to medium-bodied with a fresh mouth-watering finish.
Full, harmonious and velvety taste with a clear-cut personality. Fruity fragrances melt with the spicy barrique aromas. The fine quality of this sparkling wine makes it perfect for important occasions, celebrations, and special events. Excellent either as an aperitif or served throughout the meal. Best when matched to fish and white meat dishes, but will also marry well with other even unusual preparations.
Refined, harmonious, lingering aroma and sapidity. At best with fish preparations. Excellent as an aperitif but even better as an all-meal companion.
The grape variety, which originated in Germany, has found an ideal terroir in South Tyrol. Riesling makes high demands on the site and prefers a cool but sunny climate. This is exactly what the vineyards around Lake Montiggl and the neighbouring sites offer, whose porphyry soils give the wine its special character. The Riesling Fallwind impresses with its fruity notes and mineral acidity, which make it a top-class wine.
