The Nals Margreid Winery is a leading winegrowing cooperative in South Tyrol, in the northern Italian region of Trentino Alto Adige. It is a fine, delicately aromatic dessert wine, with a light ruby color and an intensive nose of tea-rose. It is full-bodied and spicy-sweet on the palate. This wine pairs well with a wide variety of desserts, for instance, poppy-seed strudel or beignets.
The Lagrein has a fine and pleasant bouquet, reminiscent of violets. Its flavour is full, velvety and slightly bitter and it also keeps well. This is a wine that goes well with grilled and roast meats, game and spicy cheeses.
