The grapes are harvested by hand later than the other Riesling plots. Afterwards they are carefully processed and the wine is stored in large acacia barrels for 10 months on the fine yeast. This is followed by another 24 months in bottles before sale.
A deep garnet-red color, this wine exhibits understated aromas of cherries, cassis and wild berries. Forceful yet round in flavour, its impressive depth and elegance persist throughout its lingering finish.
A dry white wine in light straw yellow with pronounced apple aromas, a light vanilla note and a fresh, well-balanced acidity with creamy structure. Powerful body with juicy fullness and a persistent, salty finish.
Unique of its kind, with a strong and particular character. Alongside raspberry and liquorice we find cherry, dark chocolate and plum. A year of ageing in barriques makes the tannins rounder and this racy wine more accessible.
A very refreshing experience in the nose, as well as in the mouth. Light berries and fine mint. Raspberries flambé and apple mint on the palate. A bombastic wine, pure sex. Positive development up to 10 years.
The Muskaris the Santer cellar seduces with its fine floreal scent of violets, rose and lilac, but it also shows its fruity side with aromas of citrus fruits and a clear muscat note. On the palate it presents itself fresh and balanced with an animating fruit-acid-play and a delicate spice. Wine obtained biological grapes.
