The palate is very dense and concentrated, yet with fine extract and nuance, grainy tannin, some cocoa notes, fine oak and a very fresh dark fruit in abundance, and a chewy, fresh and very long finish packed with spicy dark fruit. A lot of stuffing but finely balanced with great purity. Marvelous now and marvelous in 30 years."
