Im Auftakt kräftig, opulent, die hohe Alkohol-Gradation ist zwar spürbar, doch der Wein wirkt nicht breitschultrig, sondern erstaunlich elegant, die Frucht ist sehr reif, wird von einem mächtigen Gerbstoffkorsett gestützt, eine feine Säure balanciert zusätzliCh-teau Langer Abgang. Man sollte sich hier von den 15% Alkohol nicht abschrecken lassen, denn dieser Wein zeigt, dass man auch mit hohen Gradationen eine Balance finden kann. 2024-2033."

The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, freshness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of acidulous raspberry associated with touches of violet plum, pulpy/acidulous blueberry as well as hints of liquorice, toasted/caramelization, chocolate and a very discreet hint of camphor. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built."
