Im Gaumen kräftig, ausgesprochen druckvoll, jedoch nicht plump oder schwerfällig, die markante Tanninstruktur ist eindrücklich, die Gerbstoffe sind von höchster Güte, wird im mittleren Gaumen immer weicher, ja fast schon kuschelig, alle Elemente sind in ausgezeichneter Harmonie, der Abgang sehr, sehr lang.
