The Palestina is a red wine with an especially heavy bouquet and a complex array of tannins. Color: a deep garnet-red color. Aroma: concentraded fruity aroma reminiscent of blackcurrants with a hint of roasted coffee. Taste: Warm, mineral and smooth tannins, pronounced structure and lingering finish.
It is an absolute speciality to bottle a pure Cabernet Franc. This brother of the Cabernet Saugivnon is a very elegant and gentle red wine. It convinces with its pleasant fruit taste, like fruits of the forest and its strong, caressing character on the palette.
The wine has a dense and impressive colour. Very intensive fruit notes of black currant and wild cherry, liquorice and leather. In the mouth it's chubby, soft, handy tannins and has a fine long finale.
Those who have a little patience and can cellar their "Kirchhügel" Cabernet for a length of time will be rewarded with tertiary aromas that are reminiscent of an oriental tea ceremony: cedar, suede, tobacco, roasted hazelnuts, sponge cake, and dried blackberries.
Deep, quite intense, cherry red colour. Very pronounced, clean aroma with fruity notes of cherry and blackcurrant. Also spice notes (white pepper) and oak. Full bodied, with good fruit concentration on the palate. Long finish, accompagnied by tannins that are well integrated in the structure of the wine. Still rather youthful.
