Targeted selection in our vineyards over the course of years have now produced convincing results. The Pinot Nero of the St. Valentin line has been especially successful. A radiant garnet red, it impresses with its tempting aromas: small berries with crisp cherries, fresh violets, a breath of marzipan. This Pinot Nero opens up with a multifaceted lasting quality. A fine wine for lamb dishes, beef, wild fowl, and cheese, it has an excellent potential for aging.
Our Pinot Nero is produced entirely grapes produced French clones. The fermentation is spontaneous in open wooden vats, while malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques. The wine is then refined for twelve months in French durmast oak casks.

Medium ruby, fresh fruit, lightly aromatic; lively round, full-flavoured with accentuated cherry fruit; soft, just a hint of tannin and acidity, dry on the finish. A very attractive, light-textured wine with plenty of charm.
