Through a perfect distillation in small waterbath stills in autumn 2009 we obtained a grappa of excellent structure suitable for the aging process in Barrique started in the following year. Following with particular care the aging process after 89 long months we consider the Grappa Lagrinum XO Riserva Imperiale with its complex aromatic profile of fruity notes, honey, vanilla, excellent harmony and long persistence on the palate a true concert of olfactory sensations.
The Müller Thurgau Grappa is a special product of our firm. Due to the rareness of the used grape marks, the production quantity is limited. This noble and singular eau-de-vie is made with the slightly pressed Müller Thurgau grape marks and has a full and unique aroma.

These Grappas are distilled grape skins deriving fully ripe and absolutely healthy grapes grown in the Neustift estate, grape skins which yield single grape brandies characterised by clean, pure, clear-cut varietal character.
The best South Tyrolean pomace taken Kalterer See, St. Magdalener, Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer grapes is used to make this traditional grappa and give it its distinctive velvety flavour.
For the production of this liqueur, we various herbs deriving our wildflower meadows, which are sited at the altitudes of 1000 to 1300 meters. The herbs are left to infuse for approximately 45 days: the infusion is cold so that the active ingredients and properties of the raw materials could be preserved. The scent of this infusion is reminiscent of that one of the freshly harvested hay, and the taste is intense, herbaceous and persistent.

After beeing lightly roasted, hazelnuts are crumbled and finally added to a special bled of dryed roots.
