Deion: Pale pink like the Carina rose, this fresh Eichenstein rosé is made with Trollinger grapes. Reminiscent of cherries, raspberry and a hint of strawberry, it is the perfect wine for balmy summer nights. Grape varierty: 100% Vernatsch / Schiava. IGT Mitterberg. Production area: The grapes for our rosé come the Knott vineyard in Marling. This vineyard is located at 300 m above sea level and faces east with a slope inclination of about 40%. The Vernatsch vines were planted in 2022 and have a strongly branched root network which grows deep into the medium-heavy mineral-rich slate soils. Vinification: Due to the short maceration time on the press our rosé gets its typical light colour. The subsequent fermentation in steel tanks takes place at about 16 - 18°C. The young wine is then stored on the fine lees for 6 months. Serving temperature: 11 - 13°C. Ageing potential: 2 - 4 years. Bottle to: 750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt. Allergens: contains sulphites.
