Schüttelbrot Crisp Bread Wholemeal - 155 gr. - South Tyrol
Schüttelbrot is a crispy mixed rye bread in the form of a flatbread, which is traditionally hand-shaken. A typical South Tyrolean speciality, light to the bite and particularly digestible. Ideal with bacon, cheese or a good glass of red wine.

As good as freshly baked No preservatives or leavening agents allowed: for our Vinschgerl with spelt we strictly follow the original South Tyrolean recipe with sour rye dough, spelt and aromatic spices. Gourmet tip? Heat it up in the oven at 180° for 4 minutes to release all its flavour.
Spelled Vinschgerl, pronounced Alto Adige If South Tyrol could be bitten into, it would taste like Vinschgerl: the typical wholemeal rye bread made sourdough, slowly rising and flavoured with aromatic spices. Sure, it has a strange name and is easier to eat than to pronounce, but then again, you can't talk with your mouth full! Heat it up in the oven at 180° for 4 minutes to release all its flavour.
