St. Magdalener is the classic red wine in Bolzano. It is gained a fine old local variety called Vernatsch. St. Magdalener is a light and elegant red wine, whose fruit is coined by the scent of roses, cherries, strawberries and almond. A mild acidity, few and soft tannins prevail in the mouth.
Our St. Magdalener originates mainly over 25 years old vines, trained on the pergola system.
The wine finishes in large wooden barrels and steel tanks and is bottled in April.

Among the Vernatsch varieties, Grauvernatsch has particularly noticeable and delicate aromas. These light and agreeable character make it a pleasure to drink.
