purple colour with garnet hints. Quite pronounced fruity aroma with notes of red and black berries, paired with floral, mineral and spicy nuances (black pepper). Medium to full-bodied, good intensity on the palate, balanced, with present ripe tannin. Good length.

Cabernet Löwengang - 2014 - Tenuta Lageder

Deep, quite intense, cherry red colour. Very pronounced, clean aroma with fruity notes of cherry and blackcurrant. Also spice notes (white pepper) and oak. Full bodied, with good fruit concentration on the palate. Long finish, accompagnied by tannins that are well integrated in the structure of the wine. Still rather youthful.

Cabernet Sauvignon COR Römigberg - 2015 - Tenuta Lageder

Very deep, intense cherry-red colour. Pronounced, complex aroma, fruity (cherry, blackcurrant) and spicy, with floral notes (tobacco, violets, mint) combined with elegant oak spice. Quite powerful and rich on the palate, with an intense, strong taste and a long lasting, fresh and fruity aftertaste. The tannins are rather strong though well balanced with the sweetness of the wine's fruit structure.

Full bodied, quite rich and powerful, with very good fruit concentration on the palate. Well balanced, still very youthful. Long, fresh and fruity aftertaste with present tannin.

Chardonnay Gaun - 2020 - Tenuta Lageder Alois

a substantial Chardonnay, party fermented and ripened in small wooden casks. The grapes are grown in the Gaun vineyards on the Magré moraine. Golden-yellow color with greenish overtones. more Rich, complex aroma with delicate, light, buttery nose and notes of ripe tropical fruits. Full, vigorous and yet elegant taste. Harmonious, fresh, lingering finish.

Chardonnay Löwengang - 2019 - Tenuta Lageder

Brilliant, gold yellow colour with a green shimmer. Very rich, complex, still quite closed aroma. Burgundian style with a delicate creaminess, some toasty oak and ripe tropical fruit. Touches of vanilla and roasted almonds. Quite rich, well-structured though elegant flavour, harmonious, with a pungent, fresh acidity to match the depth of the fruit and the oaky backbone.

Medium structure and with good fruit intensity on the palate. The tannins are present though balanced. Good length with an earthy aftertaste.

When cellared under proper conditions, this wine may be kept for 8 to 10 years.

Long lasting with a fresh aftertaste and well balanced tannins.

Pinot Noir Krafuss - 2016 - Tenuta Lageder

Medium intense ruby colour with a garnet shimmer. Still somewhat closed, clean uplifted varietal aroma: impressions of red berry fruit, cherries along with oak spice (white pepper, cinnamon). Quite pronounced flavour, medium bodied. Fresh finish with good length and a presence of spicy tannin. Elegant style.

Schiava Römigberg - 2019 - Tenuta Lageder

Brilliant ruby colour with purple tints. Quite pronounced, very fruity aroma with impressions of red fruit cherries and violets. Medium bodied, quite mild and soft though dry. Fresh and slightly spicy aftertaste with an elegant bitter note of bitter almonds. Lagdo di Caldaro is usually drunk in the year after production, but can laso be cellared for at least 3 years.
