Made Sangiovese grapes with a little percentage of Merlot, this wine, aged for approximately 9 months in oak barrels, combines structure, softness and much character.
The wine displays its extraordinary personality and depth in its bright amber colour. After the first, intense notes of apricot and peach, come sweet sensations of dried fig, honey, herbs and mineral notes. Produced with Sangiovese and a small amount of Malvasia Nera, Colorino and Merlot, it is characterized by a balance of elegance and complexity, which make this wine a magnificent example of the "terroir".
Visually striking for its brilliance and brightness, the color is straw yellow with a greenish hue. The scent is very variegated and elegant; floral notes (hawthorn and magnolia) and fruity notes (grapefruit and pineapple) linked and amalgamated by hints of vanilla on which the characteristic mineral notes are grafted with aging. The taste is fragrant, full-bodied and structured, articulated in scents that refer to olfactory sensations, but well balanced with a persistent aftertaste that fades to almond notes.
