An elegant red wine with fruity woody notes of red berries, cherries and a hint of pepper. Fresh taste, still a little youthful in the drink. Complex finish with well integrated tannin structure and long reverberation.
Variety: 92% Vernatsch, 8% Lagrein.
Zone: Calving Field at 300 m Höhe.
Vinification: Hand harvest and grape selection. Mash fermentation for 3 weeks and subsequent reduction of mash. Ageing in used barriques.
Food recommendation: Especially suitable for pork, white meat, poultry and duck.
Serve temperature: 12 - 14°C.
Stockability: 3 - 5 years.
