VIGNETI: I vigneti, coltivati su un terreno calcareo-argilloso, si trovano a Ronchi, piccolo centro a sud di Termeno, ad un'altitudine di 250-300 m circa. Il grande calore che caratterizza l'area di produzione favorisce notoriamente da secoli l'ottenimento di vini rossi corposi e densi.
VINIFICAZIONE: La macerazione è stata fatta a temperatura controllata (28°C) con continui rimontaggi per incrementare la cessione di sostanze dalle bucce. La fermentazione e l'invecchiamento sono avvenuti in barrique francesi e in grandi botti di rovere.
NOTE SENSORIALI: Il nome LOAM (dal tedesco LEHM = fango, argilla) assegnato a questo vino ricorda proprio la caratteristica del singolo terreno di coltura. Nella parlata locale, LOAM è la pronuncia data alla parola tedesca Lehm (it. fango, argilla). Cuvée nato dall'uvaggio delle uve Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Cabernet Franc 15% e Merlot 35% coltivate nella zona da oltre 150 anni. Il vino si presenta di un colore rosso rubino, brillante, il profumo è molto vinoso, intenso e gradevole. Al palato il vino è sapido, pieno e generoso. È sicuramente un ottimo vino da pasto, particolarmente adatto agli arrosti, alla cacciagione ed ai formaggi piccanti.
