The St. Pauls Winery, also known as Cantina San Paolo, is a renowned winegrowing cooperative in the heart of South Tyrol, Italy. The winery was founded in 1907 by 23 winegrowers who joined forces to jointly market their wines. Today, the cooperative has more than 200 members and cultivates a total of around 190 hectares of vineyards. The St. Pauls Winery is known for its high-quality wines made the region's indigenous grape varieties such as Vernatsch, Lagrein and Gewürztraminer, but also international varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot. Particularly noteworthy are the Gewürztraminer, which is considered one of the best in all of South Tyrol, and the Pinot Noir, which is considered one of the best in Italy. This powerful white wine shows a straw yellow colour with green reflexes, a complex bouquet of lime, peaches and hints of mango and has a wonderful mouth fill and structure without missing the acidity that gives him the freshness in the aftertaste. A very complex and versatile wine that can be paired to many dishes.
The wine has a straw-yellow appearance with green reflexes and a fruity-aromatic nose, reminiscent of ripe peach, mango and coconut milk. It is full-bodied on the palate and shows copious ripe fruit.
The Lagrein Crescendo the best sites of Gries and Auer impresses with its dark garnet red up to deep blue colour, with the slight chocolate and fruit of the forest fragrance seduces and convinces the palate with its hearty, full, velvety structure with soft tannins.
